Fremont Conservation District will be holding a series of irrigation workshops designed for ditch company boards and ditch riders. Our first meeting will be in December and cover funding sources available to ditch companies for both project planning , implementation, and capacity building. Our second meeting in January will include a half day workshop concerning Colorado water law, ditch company by-laws, and how to protect your water rights and shares. The final workshop in February will cover other infastructure improvement opportunities, and cover the wider topic of watershed health in relation to the irrigation companies.
